The Rhema University Guidance and Counseling Unit has gone a long way to touch and change lives. As the Chancellor insists, no child is a waste or should be abandoned for reason of bad behaviour or character, and so as the Counselor my work involves counseling and helping our students stay focused while directing them to the path of excellence in character and learning, and instilling in them the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom.
For those with difficulties in their academics, we help them develop effective study habits, as well as equip them with skills to handle their personal issues.
It hasn't been easy dealing students considering their diverse backgrounds, but God has been the source of our strength.
None of our student will be lost.
Mrs. Chidi Hillary-Umeh Students' Counselor Rhema University Nigeria
