The Rhema University Medical College Library houses collections in Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and other medical and allied courses. It serves as a repository for current advancements in medicine and human health.
The Rhema University Postgraduate Library, with its state-of- the art facilities, caters to the information needs of postgraduate students. It houses up-to-date books and periodicals across disciplines.
The Readers’ Services section combines the Circulation and Reference Units. It is solely responsible for the registration of users; borrowing and renewing of materials; the processing of users’ requests; shelving and shelf-reading of materials; clearing the outgoing students and staff; literature search, Information Literacy; attending to users’ queries among others. Loaning privilege is only given to users who have registered and activated their membership account with the Library.
Rhema University Library houses diverse e-resources such as e-books, e-journals, CD-ROM, DVDs, e-Research projects, PDF files, e-speeches, web links, and institutional papers.
Rhema University library subscribes to relevant databases such as EBSCOHOST, HINARI, AGORA, OARE, ARDI, and GOALI. In addition, there are avalanche open access databases, Open Education Resources (OER), web links to vital information specific to the courses of study in RU and other general recorded knowledge accessible in the library.
The library provides reprographic facilities that serve users’ printing, photocopying, scanning, and lamination needs.
Our OPAC contains all the records of print collection of the library and provides users the opportunity to browse the library collections online within and outside the Campus, make reservations, and manage their user account. It also gives details book locations on the shelves. Users are mandated to register with the Library for them to use our library facilities.
Rhema University Library has a well-organised and up-to-date textbooks and periodicals, which fulfills the curriculum requirement of the university programmes as accredited by the National Universities Commission.
